Preston Hagens
Restoring vehicles became an interest early on. Growing up on the family farm, Preston learned to fabricate and restore farm machinery, as buying new was not always the favored choice.
Preston’s interest and skills were fully realized after rebuilding an old truck as a special project in high school.
Upon completing this project, I better-understood and respected the inner and outer workings of a vehicle.
Preston worked for Oyen Paint and Autobody during and after high school. Under the direction of Curtis Kergan, Preston apprenticed as a paint and autobody technician. He took his technical training at Medicaine Hat College and earned his Interprovincial Journeyman’s Certification in 1993. With qualifications and experience under his belt, Preston was ready to become an independent.
In 1997, Preston established Paint Tech Autobody on the family farm. Preston has served the local and surrounding communities for 15 years repairing, modifying, accessorizing and restoring vehicles.
